Background
Since 2001 Scientific & Chemical Supplies have organised an annual catalogue launch and suppliers exhibition.
In 2004 this grew into the current format. The SciChem event has been designed to provide training for science technicians working in schools and college science departments throughout the UK, and our laboratory supplies customers. There is also a supplier exhibition for customers to see new products and a chance to talk directly to suppliers and manufacturers.

A half a day for our laboratory supplies customers, and a two day event for our education customers. The suppliers dinner was another memorable night, with a moving presentation by Derian House Children's Hospice. Throughout the event there was a charity raffle and sealed bid auction, with prizes donated by suppliers, Haydock Park, Thistle Hotels, and ourselves. The nominated charity was Derian House Children's Hospice, and a cheque for £7,200 was presented on behalf of the delegates, suppliers and Scientific & Chemical staff and the company.

A two day event for our education customers, with suppliers dinner, charity raffle and sealed bid auction. Over £5,600 was raised for The Shooting Stars Children's Charity.

A two day event for our education customers, with suppliers dinner, charity raffle and sealed bid auction. Over £2,000 was raised for the Rainbow Children's Hospice in Leicester.
